MUSICAL CREDENTIALS
Earned his Bachelor of Music in Vocal Performance from the Peabody Conservatory at Johns Hopkins University, studying under Dr. Carl DuPont and Elizabeth Futral while also completing the Peabody Leadership Certification and serving in the SphinxConnect Fellowship supporting equity and representation in music and as President of the Black Student Union
Also holds an Associate in Fine Arts in Music from Central Piedmont Community College
Has appeared as a soloist and principal artist with the Alexandria Symphony Orchestra, Annapolis Opera, Peabody Opera, and Opera Carolina, ranging from classical composers Mozart, Handel, and Strauss to contemporary works
Earned several awards and honors, including the Encouragement Award from the Metropolitan Opera Laffont Competition, finalist in the Sylvia Green Vocal Competition, runner-up in the Marian Anderson Vocal Competition, and won multiple state and regional competitions with the National Association of Teachers of Singing (NATS)
Actively teaches private voice lessons emphasizing healthy vocal technique, diction, performance practice, and artistic confidence, and has served as substitute instructor at Peabody Preparatory teaching musical theater and classical voice.
